Currently Craving – Marble Wedding Cakes

There are so many trends in the wedding industry, but one of our current favorites for Spring? Marble wedding cakes!

As I’m sure you have noticed, marble everything is trendy lately, not just wedding cakes (even my laptop case if grey and white marble – and I get quite the fair share of compliments!) It is such a unique and exciting pattern and so fun to incorporate into your wedding, so why not use it on the cake? Wedding cake designs can too be overdone. But marble wedding cakes are taking over this Spring and we are utterly obsessed.

If you’re having any sort of reservations on the design, here’s why we think a marble wedding cake is perfect for all style weddings…

  • It’s unique – Most people tend to stick to the traditional white cake with flowers in whatever their accent color is, which is beautiful don’t get us wrong! But sometimes it’s refreshing to be a leader and not a follower. The marble wedding cake adds that sense of uniqueness without being obnoxious or ‘too much’.
  • Adds color – Brides are always looking for different ways to add their accent color to their wedding. Table linens and floral are always the “go-to”, but bringing that color over to the dessert table will tie the color in nicely!
  • Perfectly subtle – Sometimes when couples try and go out of the ordinary with their cakes, it gets a little crazy. The colors are too much, or the cake accessories are a little too over the top, which can be distracting! The marble is subtle enough to blend in, but still adds that special and exciting touch that will set your wedding apart from the rest.

Wedding trends are always changing, so keep up with us every month on what’s the newest and greatest!
